Cancellation Policy
Nectar Allergy & Asthma is committed to making it easy for patients to cancel treatment plans and appointments. This policy explains how cancellations work for prescription treatment plans and provider appointments. For refund details, please see our Refund Policy.
1. Canceling a Prescription Treatment Plan
Patients may cancel a Nectar prescription treatment plan — including compounded sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) and compounded nasal sprays — at any time, with no retention barriers, by either:
- Logging into the Nectar patient portal at dashboard.mynectar.com and following the cancellation instructions, or
- Emailing support@mynectar.com
Cancellation requests are processed within two (02) business days of receipt.
2. Prorated Refunds for Subscription Plans
If a cancellation request is received at least seven (07) days before the next scheduled prescription shipment, the patient is eligible for a prorated refund of pre-paid fees for any prescription products that have not yet been shipped. Prescription products that have already been shipped cannot be refunded or returned, as compounded medications are personalized to each patient.
Full refund terms are available in our Refund Policy.
3. Provider-Initiated Discontinuation
If a Nectar provider determines that a treatment plan should be discontinued for clinical reasons, the patient will receive a prorated refund for any pre-paid prescription products that have not yet been shipped. No action is required from the patient in this case; the care team will coordinate the refund directly.
4. Canceling a Provider Appointment
Patients may cancel or reschedule a provider appointment through the Nectar patient portal at dashboard.mynectar.com or by calling the clinic directly.
To avoid a late cancellation or no-show fee, cancellations must be submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment time.
The following fees apply to late cancellations and missed appointments:
- Late cancellation (less than 24 hours' notice): $50
- No-show (patient does not arrive and does not cancel): $75
- Late arrival of more than 15 minutes: the appointment may be rescheduled at the provider's discretion, and the no-show fee may apply
These fees are disclosed at the time of booking and are charged to the payment method on file.
5. Account Termination
Terminating a Nectar account does not relieve the patient of any accrued fees or charges incurred prior to termination. Any such charges will be billed to the payment method on file.
6. Changes to This Policy
Nectar may update this policy from time to time. Patients are encouraged to review this policy periodically. The effective date above reflects the most recent update.
