Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Lead – Allergy & Immunology
About Us
Nectar Allergy is a rapidly growing allergy & immunology care platform focused on improving access, outcomes, and patient experience. We currently operate clinics in the New York City metro area, with a broader national expansion plan underway. Our hybrid care model includes in-clinic, telehealth, and at-home treatments, supported by a scalable, data-driven infrastructure designed for multi-state growth.
The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Leader to own, optimize, and strategically shape the full revenue cycle across our organization. This is not just an operational role—this person will help define Nectar’s RCM strategy and operating model as we scale, including determining what processes should be in-house versus outsourced, building internal teams, and managing external billing partners where appropriate.
You will be accountable for everything from eligibility and authorizations through claims submission, denial management, and cash reconciliation while also establishing the systems, workflows, and policies that will support multi-site and multi-state expansion.
This is a high-impact, highly autonomous position reporting directly to the Head of Finance and will partner closely with the Clinic Operations team. Light travel to our NYC-area clinics may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
- Experience overseeing end-to-end RCM operations (eligibility → cash)
- Management experience, ideally with both in-house teams and external vendor oversight
- Strong understanding of payer rules including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
- Comfort with designing, implementing, and scaling new processes in a rapidly growing environment
- Experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding, modifier usage, and common denial workflows (bonus if allergy, ENT, or specialty care)
- Experience working with EHR/PM systems (e.g., Athena, AdvancedMD, DrChrono, Kareo, etc.)
- Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
- Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and finance teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in multi-site healthcare organizations or roll-up environments
- Experience with allergy/immunology, ENT, or infusion/immunotherapy billing
- Experience supporting M&A integration or de novo clinic launches
- Strong Excel / BI skills (Power BI, Looker, etc.)
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary: $100,000 – $125,000
- 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Remote-first work environment
- Light travel to NYC-area clinics as needed
- High level of autonomy and ownership
- Opportunity to build and lead a core function in a scaling healthcare company
- Pathway to expanded leadership as we grow
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.
