About Nectar Allergy

‍

Nectar Allergy is a rapidly growing allergy & immunology care platform focused on improving access, outcomes, and patient experience. We currently operate clinics in the New York City metro area, with a broader national expansion plan underway. Our hybrid care model includes in-clinic, telehealth, and at-home treatments, supported by a scalable, data-driven infrastructure designed for multi-state growth. We are preparing for a Series B raise and operate with the discipline and ambition of a company on its way to becoming a market leader.

‍

Position Overview

‍

We are looking for a Senior Manager of FP&A to be a reliable finance business partner to the CEO and leadership team. This is a hands-on role at the center of our financial operations — you will own the monthly close coordination, P&L and cash forecasting, board reporting, and internal operational analytics. You will work closely with our third-party accounting team and translate financial and operational data into clear insights that drive decisions. This role is right for someone who is equally comfortable in Excel building a detailed forecast as they are pulling data and building a dashboard to track clinic performance.

‍

Key Responsibilities

‍

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Own and maintain the company P&L and cash flow forecast, including short- and long-range models
  • Partner with the third-party accounting team on monthly close, AP, payroll, tax, and provider bonus calculations
  • Develop and monitor operating budgets; provide variance analysis and actionable commentary to leadership
  • Build and continuously refine financial models to support strategic decision-making

Board & Executive Reporting

  • Produce a monthly financial report package for the Board of Directors
  • Lead the finance section of the quarterly board deck, including slide build, narrative, and supporting analysis
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, executive-ready insights and visualizations

Strategic & Operational Analysis

  • Support the CEO on Series B preparation, including maintaining the investor financial model
  • Assist with due diligence requests and data room organization as the raise progresses

‍

Qualifications

‍

Required

  • 4–8 years of FP&A experience in a corporate finance, venture-backed startup, or healthcare/life sciences environment
  • Background in at least one of: FP&A at a multi-unit or multi-site company, a VC-backed growth-stage company, or a healthcare services or life sciences organization
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel. You build clean, well-structured models and can adapt them quickly
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization to drive actionable insights
  • Experience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Comfortable producing board-level reporting and executive-ready financial narratives

Preferred

  • SQL proficiency — able to write queries and pull data independently from a data warehouse
  • NetSuite experience — familiarity with reporting, consolidations, or planning modules
  • Exposure to a fundraising process (Series A/B or similar) in a support capacity
  • Experience with multi-site clinic, provider group, or value-based care business models
  • Located in New York City metro, Los Angeles metro, Salt Lake City, UT, or Louisville, KY (not required to be in these locations though preferred)

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary and equity participation
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Flexible, fully remote work environment
  • Direct partnership with an ambitious CEO — real influence over company direction
  • Front-row seat to a high-growth healthcare company at a pivotal inflection point

Nectar Life Sciences is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
